Itasca Bank & Trust Decals

Earlier this month, the bank asked us to do some decals for their ground breaking ceremony, celebrating the construction of a new branch facility in Roselle, IL. Rather than just doing flat decals, we 'domed' them to give them a bit of extra dimension.

These were then affixed to the hard hats that the group wore.

We're very excited to see the new facility which should be done Spring of 2010! And thanks for being such a great resource for our company.

Get Your Money Faster

First off, I want to preface that I got a reminder about this idea from John Henry who owns Mitchell Printing & Mailing in Oswego, NY.

Here's a great way to get your money faster... it's inexpensive and real simple too. Hire a goon to hound your customers you say? Nah, just

Use a #9 return envelope with your name and address. And I'll go one step further, John...how about a postage-paid envelope??? Try adding your bar code and FIM marks along with it and see how much faster it will arrive in your mail box. Printing on brightly colored stock will help differentiate it from other mail in a hurry.

If this sounds like a good idea to you, drop me a line with what you'd like...quantity, color paper and if you want colored ink (PMS).

Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend...and don't forget what the day is all about...not just burgers, brats and beer. Here's to all who have kept the USA safe.

Almost an Antique

Here's a picture of our old Itek 275 paper platemaker...quite the work horse in its day. It provided disposable purple plates used on our small presses. We acquired it when we opened shop in 1983. But now, it's time to send it to the scrap man. Just hope they can re-use a bunch of the metal.

Libertyville

Gosh, I have been so remiss about not posting...where does the time go?

A few weeks ago, the Village had an open meeting with business owners to update us on what is happening....and also a Q & A session. I think Mayor Harger and his team did a great job. My hope is that they do it more than once a year.

Great to meet so many other business owners...most of whom do not belong to the Chamber, so there was a whole new mix.
